Rogers Residential LLC is a family owned and managed business that provides remodeling to the real estate market in the Dallas metro area.
The company provides the full range of remodeling services to customers who want to completely renovate their properties as well as homeowners who may just update their floors, kitchens, or baths. As a general contractor, we manage the entire project for both large and small projects. Smaller projects have included kitchen renovations, bath renovations, and a wide range of flooring jobs. In addition, we provide design consulting to whatever degree a customer wants. We advise on floor plan configuration and the design of floors, kitchens, and baths, and selection of materials. We use our own resources for some of the framing, carpentry, tile work, cabinet installation, appliance/fixture installation, and flooring. We also engage reliable contractors who do quality work at reasonable prices -- including plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, HVAC, windows, hardwood floors, cabinets, roofs, and landscaping.
In addition to being an owner of Rogers Residential Company and Dallas general contractor, Linda Rogers has been a licensed Realtor since 2003. Her partner David Gray is also a Realtor. They are affiliated with United Real Estate, Dallas. Linda and David advise homeowners on improvements that add to their home's market value.
Real Estate Investment
From 2003 to 2010, we bought older properties to renovate and resale. We upgraded these homes to current standards and current trends and put then them back on the market. We renovated the homes throughout, inside and outside, including systems. We bought, remodeled, and resold 9 homes in the last 5 years, with sales prices up to $810,000. Typically, we buy homes in transitional neighborhoods and invest $100,000 or more to renovate the homes. We provide high quality finish out and a lot of unique design features (e.g. wood panel floors, suspended light boxes, decorative glass backsplash, and decorative and functional niches). Background of Principals
Linda is the overall project manager for the company's projects. Linda Rogers manages the projects and engages independent contractors to perform the work.
Prior to engaging in remodeling as a business in 2003, Linda had over 30 years experience in the information technology industry where she managed large software development projects and systems implementation projects for major banks. From 2000 to 2003, prior to retiring from her original career, Linda was engaged by Accenture as a program manager for several bank wide reengineering projects at leading banks in Asia. Linda now applies her strong project management and customer relationship skills to the remodeling business. In addition, Linda did the design work for her own homes for over 20 years, and served as her own general contractor. This included a $200,000 plus renovation of a home she sold in 2005 for $810,000.
Carroll Rogers, Linda's husband, handles the accounting and financial reporting for the company. His experience has included CFO and COO roles, including serving as CFO for several commercial real estate developers.
